About Your Privacy and the Use of Our Site

Thank you for visiting Dravida Consulting’s website and reviewing our Privacy Policy. The primary purpose of our website is to be a business tool and to help you learn more about Dravida Consulting. While visiting DravidaConsulting.com, we will not collect any personal information about you unless you choose to provide that information to us. If you choose to provide this information, it will be used for the express purpose for which it was intended, such as responding to your request for information. We remind you that if you visit a link outside of DravidaConsulting.com you are subject to the privacy policies of that site.

This policy (together with our Terms of Use and data privacy notices on the site) explains how any personal data we may collect from or about you through this site, will be processed and protected by Dravida Consulting. By using our site you are consenting to our use of your data as described below. Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page.

The Information We Gather

Dravida Consulting collects information from you directly (for example, when you provide information to request additional information from us via email). We collect and process the following information:

  • Information that you send us via email. (It is completely up to you whether you want to provide this information to us.)
  • If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.

Cookies

When you visit some websites, their web servers generate pieces of information known as cookies, which helps webmasters understand how users interact with their site’s content and services. Websites use cookies to track one’s activities on a website (e.g., pages visited, links clicked on, etc.), and to record information about the user so when the user returns to the site, customized features can be provided. There are two types of cookies. A session cookie is a line of text that is stored temporarily in your web browser’s memory cache, and will expire when the browser is closed. A session cookie is not placed on any hard drive, and it is destroyed as soon as you close your browser. A persistent cookie is saved to a file on your hard drive and is accessed whenever you re-visit the website that put it there. This lets that website remember what you were interested in the last time you visited.

DravidaConsulting.com does not use cookies.

How We Use Information That We Collect From You

We use personal data to provide you with information you request, process job applications, and for other purposes which we would describe to you at the point where it is collected or which will be obvious to you. For example:

  • To fulfill your requests for white papers, articles, newsletters or other content
  • To contact you for marketing purposes where you have agreed to this.

Sharing Your Personal Data With Outside Parties

We will not sell personal data to third parties, and we generally only share personal data with our contracted service providers and advisors. However, there will be other times when we need to share or disclose personal data you provide for a specific purpose, for example:

  • We may need to disclose your personal data to third parties in the event that we sell or liquidate any part of our business or assets;
  • We will disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our Terms of Use; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Dravida Consulting, our clients, or others.

Handling of Sensitive Personal Data

We do not generally seek to collect sensitive personal data through this site. In the limited cases where we do seek to collect such data, we will do this in accordance with local data privacy law requirements. If you choose to provide us with unsolicited sensitive personal data, you consent to our using the data, subject to applicable law as described in this privacy policy. The term “sensitive personal data” refers to the various categories of personal data identified by European and other data privacy laws as requiring special treatment, including in some circumstances the need to obtain explicit consent. These categories may include personal identity numbers, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious, philosophical or other similar beliefs, membership of a trade union or profession or trade association, physical or mental health, biometric or genetic data, sexual life, or criminal record (including information about suspected criminal activities).

Where Your Personal Data Will Be Processed

Personal data we collect will be processed in Maryland. We have internal policies in place to ensure an equivalent level of protection is in place across our organization.

Your Rights

You are entitled to know whether we hold personal data about you and, if we do, to have access to that personal data and require it to be corrected if it is inaccurate. You can do this by using the information provided in the More About Dravida section of our website.
